EMS Providers Standby for EC4WDA Races
During the
weekend of September 5 & 6, Berlin EMS provided standby services for the
East Coast Four Wheel Drive Association's "Showdown at
Somerset." The event was located at a track just off of Coleman
Station Rd in Brothersvalley Township, which is within the jurisdictional first
due area for Berlin EMS. The event featured drag racing for various
classes of custom four wheeled vehicles. This year marked the 40th
anniversary for this particular venue, which was hosted by the Fayette County
4-Wheelers club. Berlin EMS had one BLS unit fully staffed (in addition to
our first out ALS crew) on standby at the event between 9 AM and 5 PM during
both days.
