Berlin
EMS provides services during Somerset County Fair
The
Berlin Area Ambulance Association assisted Meyersdale Ambulance by providing
Tactical 528 for use by the duty EMS crews on standby at the Somerset County
Fair in Meyersdale, PA. The Ranger was used multiple times during the week
for various medical emergencies that occurred at the fairgrounds. Berlin
EMS also staffed a second BLS unit for standby during many of the grandstand
feature events including the truck pulls and figure 8 demo derby. With
cooperation of Meyersdale Ambulance, spare equipment was obtained so that Ambul
501 could be staffed as an ALS truck during the destruction derby. The
following pictures were taken on Saturday evening during the destruction derby.
