Berlin
EMS Represented in Career Fair
On
Wednesday, April 11, 2007, three employees of Berlin Area Ambulance Assoc.,
participated in a career fair for local high school students. The job
fair, held at the Seven Springs conference hall, was coordinated by the Somerset
County Technology Center and featured many guest speakers from different
occupational backgrounds. Berlin EMS employees were grouped in the direct
health care category, along with a surgical technician, pharmacist, nurse, and
dentist. For the EMS presentation a PowerPoint slideshow was prepared and
various equipment was setup to give students an idea of what the job of an EMT
involves. Berlin Area Ambulance was one of only three services represented
through the Somerset County Ambulance Association at the event.
