EMS Providers Attend EMSI Update Conference
Numerous
employees of Berlin Area Ambulance recently attended the 2009 EMSI Update
Conference at Seven Springs, which ran from March 26-28. This annual
conference is put on by the EMSI regional EMS council and features classes
presented by various EMS leaders from throughout the country. In addition
to the classroom sessions, there was also an EMS expo featuring the newest
innovations in apparatus and equipment. Randolph Mantooth (aka Johnny Gage
from the "Emergency" TV show) made a guest appearance sponsored by
Allegheny General Hospital, and Pittsburgh Steeler's Defensive Tackle Chris Hoke
also made an appearance courtesy of STATMedevac.
